Authenticity was the byword for this lovely November celebration. With a church ceremony at the groom’s alma mater and reception in DC’s Ivy City nightlife district, this couple above all wanted to celebrate their day in a way that felt comfortable and and true to themselves, placing an emphasis on candids, emotion, and action shots. While the day began with a very classic morning and portraits in the US Senate Gardens, it relaxed at every step, finishing with a boisterous dance party that had even grandma cutting a rug.
