SUMMERTIME GARDEN WEDDING AT A HISTORIC MARYLAND ESTATE

Every moment of this colorful garden wedding felt incredibly special for this Maryland doctor and her husband-to-be. While the women enjoyed spa-like pampering upstairs in the mansion, the gentlemen prepared for the celebration in the downstairs library, before joining their 150 guests in the garden for a ceremony that incorporated traditions of both their Nigerian roots and Christian faith, and in a nod to history, finished with a traditional jumping the broom. After portraits with their wedding party and family, the couple headed inside for a wardrobe change before rejoining their guests for a bright, emotional reception.
